Description
CLC 3866 Independent Domestic Violence Advocacy Service The London Borough of Tower Hamlets is seeking expressions of interest from providers who wish to deliver a domestic violence advocacy service from April 2011. The successful provider will deliver an independent domestic violence advocacy service to male and female victims of domestic violence aged 16 or above who live or work in the borough. The main aims of the domestic violence advocacy service are to: • Increase the immediate and long-term safety of adults and children at risk due to domestic violence • Enable victims to access the range of protection and support services available to them according to their needs • Advocate on the client’s behalf with other statutory and voluntary agencies and within multi-agency procedures, including the MARAC It is anticipated that the contract will be for two year period commencing in April 2011, with an option to extend for up to one year. Organisations wishing to express their interest in providing this service must use the link below to register on the Council’s e-tendering system, the London Tenders Portal which is free of charge.
