Description of the goods or services required - The awarding authority wishes to appoint a suitably experienced contractor to carry out ceiling reinstatement works at the stated location. The works comprise plaster ceiling reinstatement, small electrical works, joinery, painterwork and ventilation systems. The majority of the works will be undertaken during the hours of 1.00am to 4.30am, while the bus station is closed. The estimated cost of the works will be approximately #60,000 and the anticipated site start date will be October 2010. Organisations wishing to be considered are invited to note their interest on the Council's e tendering website www.edin-tend.co.uk by 12 Noon on Friday 10th September 2010.
