The Contracting Authority is seeking tenders for the framework provision of Stevedoring services at various ports within the Awarding Authority area for the transfer of Road Salt from Ship/Quayside to Haulage Vehicles, The provision of good quality, efficient, Stevedoring Services is an essential element in the logistical distribution of road salt to the various authority depots, and as such the Authority relies upon the skills, abilities, and efficiency of the Contractor to provide the services required.
