The awarding authority intends to engage building contractors for the provision of an extension to an existing primary school in St Boswells, creating two new classrooms. The extension is designed to be constructed using prefabrication technology to minimise site disruption and to improve health & safety delivery. There will be other groundworks associated with this extension including drainage services. There will also be a variety of internal alterations to the existing building, including replacement glazing. All works will be undertaken while the building remains in use.
