Your Homes Newcastle (YHN) Furniture Service delivers packs of furniture to YHN's tenants. It is also in the process of establishing similar arrangements in South Yorkshire, and seeks a partner to enable the storage and delivery of the furniture in this area. The services to be provided by the partner are: • Storage of the furniture provided by YHN Furniture Service • Delivery of the furniture directly to the tenants, assembly and removal of packaging • Connection/disconnection of appliances • Testing of appliances and maintenance in tenants' homes • Collection of the furniture from the tenants • Refurbishment, reconditioning and repairing of the furniture as and when required. • Disposal/recycling of used furniture as and when required. • Waste management • Stock control/management including rotation • Meet agreed service standards and targets Joint responsibility between the Partner and the Furniture Service will include marketing, performance management, contract compliance, reconciliation of account for payment in accordance with agreed contract provision and continued improvement against set standards including improved efficiencies year on year. The furniture includes: • White goods / electrical items • Kitchenware • Living room soft furnishings • Living room hard furnishings • Dining room furniture • Bedroom hard furnishings • Bedding and Towels • Gardening Equipment • Carpets - Fitted • Curtains - Fitted
