Description
Middlesbrough Council are seeking expressions of interest from suitably experienced suppliers who wish to be considered for providing a Claims & Insurance Management System along with the services to implement and support the system. In summary, the requirements of the system include: - - the recording and management, from the perspective of an insurance buyer, of all common classes of general insurance claims, including the provision of detailed analysis and reporting functions, and correspondence and diary facilities. - the recording and management of insurance risk data, including property schedules and fleet lists. There is also a requirement to convert and migrate the data from the existing system. The initial contract period will be for three years with an option to extend for a further two years. The contract will be awarded on the basis of price and quality and is due to start in February 2011. The council will be using a full electronic tendering system and for inclusion on the select tender list, suppliers must obtain a pre-qualification questionnaire which will require, amongst other things, information about professional and business standing and financial standing. The pre-qualification questionnaire can be obtained from the North East Purchasing Organisation (NEPO) portal via https://www.qtegov.com/procontract/suppliers.nsf If you feel that your organisation is a suitably experienced provider of this type of goods and services, the pre-qualification questionnaire must be completed and uploaded via the portal no later than 12 noon on 01/10/10.
