Research Study and Implementation Plan Objective - The primary objective of implementing a VPI in the specified location would be to enable the delivery of environment and tourism projects on the island which allows visitors to choose to give money to assist the conservation or management of places they visit. Visitor payback refers to voluntary giving rather than a compulsory payment such as a local tourist tax. As such, visitors are able to gain a sense of wellbeing from their actions. In addition, consideration should be given to leveraging public sector and/or European funds using the monies generated through a VPI scheme. This additional funding could be used for the delivery of core funding of VisitArran activities. Consultants are invited to submit a proposal in response to this brief including full details of the team member(s) who would be involved in the project work. The proposal should clearly outline number of days, fees and experience which is relevant for the delivery of this work.
