Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Council is seeking proposals for the provision of webcasting services in the Council Chamber. This contract will be valid for 24 months from commencement with the Council having the option of extending the contract for a further 12 months period, subject to the satisfactory performance of the tenderer. The agreement would include the delivery, installation, maintenance, upgrade and support of webcasting services including equipment such as server and cameras. The system will have to marry in with the current digital audio system in the Council Chamber. It is also desirable that the webcasting tie in with the current Council’s meeting system to display the agenda, etc. during live broadcasts. The webcasting archive of meetings should include index links to speakers and to meeting items. Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Council may expand the contract to allow for the webcasting of all Council meetings. In this scenario, Council meetings are held in two fixed locations, the Council Chamber and the Dundrum office. Some of these meetings would run concurrently. The requirements for the second location would be as the first location (Council Chamber) specified in the tender documentation.
