Description
There is a requirement to dispose by incineration surplus stocks of UK RESTRICTED Radar Absorbent Material (RAM), declared as hazardous waste. The associated material equates to 262m? by volume or ~18,538kgs currently stored in 1m? palletised containers at HMNB Portsmouth. The successful bidder will be required to arrange for the subsequent loading and logistical movement of the material from HMNB Portsmouth to their secure incineration facility, complete the incineration process and submit to the authority a certificate of destruction detailing the total mass of material destroyed and the date of processing. The incombustible residues that remain from the incineration process are classed as UNCLASSIFIED.
