About the Opportunity: In order to facilitate the distribution of printed competition results to the Press, Athletes and Team Officials and members of the Olympic and Paralympic Family, LOCOG will require a range of bespoke Results Distribution Units (Pigeon Holes). These units will need to be lightweight, sturdy and moveable by one person. Each unit should consist of 20 slots that can each hold 200 A4 sheets and be slanted forward so as to easily display the contents of each slot from the front. Interchangeable labels need to be applied to each slot and the entire unit should enable loading of the slots from the front and back. LOCOG require 750 of these units in total. The supplier should have experience supplying bespoke Results Distribution Units or any similar products The supplier should be able to provide a design service as part of the supply of bespoke Results Distribution Units The supplier should have the ability to produce Results Distribution Units from sustainable materialsThe supplier should have the ability to produce a prototype of the unit to test Results Distribution The supplier should have the ability to produce Results Distribution Units that can bear the Look of the Games LOCOG requires for these units to be manufactured from suitable sustainable and recyclable material types.To be able to tender for any of these contracts, businesses need to be registered on CompeteFor - www.CompeteFor.com - the chosen website for advertising London 2012 opportunities.The closing date for this opportunity, which needs to be done via the CompeteFor website, is 12 noon on the 9th September 2010.
