About the Opportunity: In order to effectively service both the Olympic Park and other waterside Olympic Venues (EXCEL, North Greenwich Arena and Greenwich Park), LOCOG will require a provider of Barge Transportation Service for movement of containerised freight from the Port of Tilbury to suitable unloading points. The Service provider will be responsible for the safe loading and unloading of the Barges as well as river transportation. The majority of the Tilbury to Venue movements will take place between February and July 2012. The Venue to Tilbury peak activity period will occur between August and October 2012.
